The White Van is progressing along on its journey to becoming a campervan. With seats and storage for 5 or more travelers, we look forward to families and groups of friends enjoying it on their summer vacations to Yellowstone, Moab, and beyond.
Up Pole Line, down the Black Knob, up Superior, down the North Chute, up Cardiac, down Cardiac, up to the Cardiff Pass weather station, down Cardiff Ridge. Straight to the Rustler for apres. Lots of up and down but worth every step. Now need to do the math on the vert.
After bouncing emails back and forth for a month like a ping pong ball, I finally met up with Ben, a good Samaritan who gave Brandon and I a ride down Big Cottonwood Canyon after skiing the East Chute of Kessler. Plans finalized on Tanners Gulch in Little Cottonwood Canyon. After skinning and booting though pea soup, the sun came out and we were fortunate to ski it in stable, soft snow. Hopefully, Ben enjoyed himself and we'll tour together soon.
We've been lucky to have Antte and Jaako from Finland renting the black van. They are great guys and ripping skiers. Yesterday, they toured around Deseret Peak, a great zone outside of the central Wasatch. Ahh, peace and quiet.
